Compliant Pin

Because it is manufactured from Wire, and not Strip, Solid State Stamping's Compliant Pin Section (patent pending) offers many advantages:

• It is easer to produce than competitor's "eye-of-the-needle design" that is made from strip

• It offers more even force distribution in the diameter of the PC board hole

• It has a true radius, and better contact with the PC board through-hole

• It uses less material which results in lower material costs

Complaint feature has been tested and approved pursuant to the IEC 352-5 British Standard Specifications and is available on terminal shapes including square, round and rectangular. It can also be applied to strip parts such as lead frames or grounding straps.
